A few years ago I got an opportunity.
Nine days of work, four in the afternoon until four in the morning. In those nine days I made ten thousand dollars.
This was the most money I had ever made in that short of time at that point. 💸
The manager called me the next year and I got invited to come back for another nine days and another ten thousand dollars.
I needed that money, I had no job & I said no to it with nothing else lined up.
Two days later, eleven thousand dollars arrived.
Not from work.
Here's the thing, because it's the whole reason I'm hosting The $11,000 decision.
I didn't earn that money.
But I worked very hard to become the
woman who could turn down ten thousand dollars.
& that's where the work is.
Not in the earning. In becoming someone who won't take the wrong money, who has made a decision based off where she's going and who she wants to be not who she's been and then holding that in the unknown with no answers.
I said no. With nothing else lined up, no plan B, and no idea where the money was going to come from instead. I said no because saying yes would have cost me the woman I was busy becoming.
That's what the decision to join this training is about, and it's the part nobody teaches or explains.
That's the work, it isn't saying no to what's wrong. It's saying no to what's almost right.
